Monte Vista Academic Boosters is a parent-led, non-profit dedicated to raising funds to pay for extra class sections at Monte Vista High School. Our primary goal is to help Monte Vista provide the best academic experience possible for our students by funding additional class sections. By doing so, we are helping reduce class sizes which improves the teaching environment for all types of learners and helps Monte Vista deliver a superior academic experience.

Every year, we ask all Monte Vista families to make a per student donation. These donations directly impact the number of class sections we are able to fund each year to supplement the state funding that we receive. Fortunately, parent support/donations have consistently funded between 16-18 class sections every year and we are able to “boost’ the number of classes offered at Monte Vista.

Exclusively for Academic Booster donors: With every $495 donation, you will be eligible to enroll in a special ACT/SAT combo class held in September. Students can take special practice ACT & SAT tests that help them determine which test best suits them, followed by a test-taking strategy session. Recommended for 2019-20 Sophomores & Juniors. Deadline to donate and be eligible is August 30, 2019. This 2-part class will be held on September 7 and September 18, 2019 only. All eligible donors will be invited to register by email in late August.
